A counseling session usually lasts 50 minutes to one hour. To avoid being charged for a scheduled appointment, it must be rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

 A missed appointment is a lost opportunity for both client and counselor.  I strongly believe that appointment times are important part of counseling.  When, on occasion, I will be unavailable for appointments, every attempt will be made to inform the client of this in advance.  If I will be unavailable for an extended time, Clients will be provided with the name of a colleague to contact, if necessary.

Email communication and text messaging can be a convenient means of setting appointment times, but I will not use this as a means of providing counseling.  Email or texting may not be a secure way of sending and receiving information, and while I make every attempt to keep my emails confidential, you may not hold Dr. Ibi liable for any breach of confidentiality that results from the use of email or texting communication.
